Due beginning of class: a minimum (hint: more is better) of one COLOR sketch PER denomination and side. This means a drawing for front and back for two different bills. Use colored pencils, markers, whatever you have to render your ideas in a complete enough manner that a viewer will understand your intentions. We will have a class critique.
Working your ideas out on paper will save you enormous amounts of time! It means that you have a goal in mind when you start to manipulate your images as to what size they will be, what color, and what sort of effects you might try to incorporate, etc. Getting sucked into "photoshop world" without a specific goal in mind is usually a waste of time in the end. Try to develop work processes where you train yourself to work smart.
Don't forget (as if you could) that your 25 business cards are due next Tuesday, October 12 mounted on black foam core. Use the board hanging on the cork board as a guide of how to mount them. Please DO NOT remove the example board from the cork! Just use it to get your measurements from.
