Trip to NYC

Jeff Pulaski, my good friend and professor at Wichita State University is taking a group of students to NYC for a graphic-design intensive experience the 3rd weekend of October 21st-24th. Jeff has extended an invitation for 2-3 more students from UWG to accompany them on their visits to Pentagram Studios with Michael Beirut, a typography walk around NYC with renowned historian Paul Shaw, and a number of other incredible opportunities. There will be a group of around 20-30 students who have done all the ground-work to arrange these visits and it would be really great to get to know some students from another graphic design program in the process.

Flights to NYC can be less than $150 and the hotel accommodations for three nights would be very inexpensive since you would be sharing rooms with other students. There will be 3 professors from WSU accompanying the group.

If you think you might be interested, please let me know ASAP (jhannaford@comcast.net) and I will put you in touch with the right people. This has the potential to be a very profound experience in your growth as graphic designers!
