Continue to perfect your two logo drawings. Remember, carefully plan your drawing strategy with the pen tool, draw out a solid configuration of guides, and work on creating each drawing with as few anchor points as possible for the smoothest lines. When grading, I will be evaluating your skill with the pen tool, as well as your design sensibilities and choices.
BEFORE the BEGINNING of class, have two black and white print-outs of your logo drawings done and ready to mount. Bring a large sheet of black foam core, large sheets of Double-Tack, some white artists tape, sharp pencil, kneaded eraser, metal-edged ruler, and exacto knife with fresh, sharp blades.
During class you will trim and mount your logo work to turn in for a final grade. We will then begin to work on your next project which is combining display type and text type with an image in a composition.
