Architecture posters due beginning of class mounted on black foam core with Double Tack. Trim your poster down to 12" x 18" and mount on 18" x 24" board (in other words, 3" of black board around all four sides.)
We will start your final project during class.
Printing from Epson 4000 printers in Photo lab:
1. Fonts DO NOT transfer between the Graphics lab and the Photo lab, so you must first save your file as a PDF to load onto a flash drive to transport into the Photo lab. In InDesign you do this under File>Export. In Illustrator, you do this as Save>then choose PDF as file type.
2. Start> My computer> locate your flash drive
3. Open the PDF file you wish to print or drag it onto the desktop of the printer computer and remove your flash drive.
4. Open your PDF file.
5. Go to File>Print
6. Go to “Page Setup” and choose “Paul.”
7. This should give you these settings already created for you:
Media Type: Enhanced Matte Paper
Color: Color/BW Photo
Print Quality: Choose between Speed, Quality or High Quality depending on what you are doing.

8. Load your Epson Photo paper (13” x 19”) FACE DOWN (brightest white side) in tray.
9. Select Print Preview at bottom.
10. Hit OK.
11. You will get another dialog box. If you want crop marks to print, go to Color Management at the top right corner and go to Output, then select crop marks.
12. Hit Print again. You will get another dialog box which should show your image sitting
on the correct size paper as a Preview.
13. If all is OK, hit Print.
14. If you do not hear the printer making noises in a few minutes, something is wrong. If this happens, see if a Photo major can help.
